Signore, fammi strumento di tua pace.
Dove c'è odio fa che io porti l'amor,
Dov'è offesa, perdono,
Dov'è dubbio, fede,
Dov'è disperazione, speranza,
Dov'è buio, luce,
Dov'è tristezza, gioia.

O Maestro Divino concedimi che io non cerchi
tanto di essere consolato quanto consolare,

Il dodicesimo giorno del settimo mese dell'anno 1995, Marcello Ciai profetizzò su Assisi. Due anni prima del terremoto, come il profeta Amos (Amos 1:1), Marcello ebbe la profezia per Assisi, che diceva fra l'altro :

Ascolta Assisi, non chiudere le tue orecchie; non rigettare la mia voce. Ascolta terra un tempo benedetta, anche se Francesco e Chiara si presentano dinanzi a me, io non posso far più nulla per fermare la mia ira. Sì, mi sono stancato di avere pietà, mi sono stancato di sentire predicar pace e misericordia. .... Guai ad Assisi, ad Assisi dove si accampò Francesco e vinse. Come un fantasma dalla polvere parlerà la moltitudine degli stranieri che pistano la tua terra. Continuino le tue feste, continuino, tremerà, fenderà la tua terra....

On the twelfth day of the seventh month of the year 1995, Marcello Ciai prophesied on Assisi. Two years before the earthquake, Amos the prophet had the same - (Amos 1:1) the prophecy for Assisi said among other things :

Listen Assisi,
don't shut your ears;
don't reject my voice.
Listen earth once blessed, even if Francis and Clare were to stand before me, I can do no more to withdraw my anger. Yes, I am tired
of having pity, I am tired of hearing the preach on peace and mercy.
....
Woe to Assisi,
to Assisi where Francis once encamped and won.
Like a ghost from the dust will talk the multitude of strangers who trample upon
your earth.
Let your feasts continue, continue, Your earth will tremble and split...

ma Assisi è soprattutto
patrimonio mondiale di Spiritualità

è una “Città Santa” amata da Dio,
porta del Paradiso per la salvezza di tanti,
chiamata a tornare allo splendore dei tempi
di San Francesco, il Santo più amato del mondo,
che prima di morire benedì Assisi
con questa preghiera:

" Signore, credo che questa città sia stata anticamente rifugio e dimora di malvagi iniqui uomini, malfamati in tutte queste regioni. Ma per la tua copiosa misericordia, nel tempo che piacque a te, vedo che hai mostrato la sovrabbondanza della tua bontà, così che la città è diventata rifugio e soggiorno di quelli che ti conoscono e danno gloria al tuo nome e spandono profumo di vita santa, diretta dottrina e buona fama in tutto il popolo cristiano. Io ti prego dunque, o Signore Gesù Cristo, Padre della misericordia, di non guardare alla nostra ingratitudine, ma di ricordare solo l'abbondanza della tua bontà, che le hai dimostrato. Sia sempre questa città, terra e abitazione di quelli che ti conoscono e glorificano il tuo nome benedetto e glorioso nei secoli dei secoli.
Amen."

it is a “Holy City” loved by God,
gate of the Paradise for the salvation of many,
called to return to the splendour of
Saint Francis’ times, the most beloved
Saint of the world, who, before dying
blessed Assisi with this prayer:

" Lord, I believe that this city was in ancient times shelter and home of evil wicked men, infamous in all these regions. But for your abundant mercy, in the time that pleased you, I see that you have shown the overabundance of your goodness, so that the city has become refuge and stay of those who know you and give glory to your name and spread scent of holy life, direct doctrine and good reputation among all the Christian people. I pray you therefore, O Lord Jesus Christ, Father of mercy, not to look at our ingratitude, but to remember only the abundance of your goodness, that you have shown. This city may always be land and home of those who know you and glorify your name, blessed and glorious in the centuries of the centuries. Amen.

Salve Massimo ci siamo conosciuti ad Assisi lei e' apparso cosi' all'improvviso vestito in quel modo cosi' apparentemente strano, ho comprato il suo libro e quando sono rientrata a Padova l'ho letto subito! Sento fortemente che quest'opera viene da DIO e il mio spirito non puo' che gioire di questo, il vostro operare sta ridonando splendore e autenticita' ad Assisi e dintorni,GRAZIE A DIO E A VOI CHE AVETE ACCETTATO DI LAVORARE PER LA VIGNA DI NOSTRO SIGNORE,anche se questo a volte non e' facile ma con la forza di DIO tutto e' possibile. E' stato un onore conoscerla,se non le dispiace mi piacerebbe tenermi in contatto anche per scambiarci e arrichirci spiritualmente. GRAZIE DI CUORE

Hi Massimo, we met in Assisi and you appeared so unexpectedly in such an apparently strange way, I bought your book and when I arrived at Padua I read it immediately! I feel strongly that this work is from God and my spirit cannot but rejoice in this, your work is giving back splendor and authenticity to Assisi and its surroundings, THANKS TO GOD AND YOU WHO HAVE AGREED TO WORK FOR THE VINEYARD OF OUR LORD, even if this sometimes is not easy but with the power of God everything is possible.
